Jacobite reenactment events

The Jacobite uprisings took place between 1688 and 1746 and were an attempt to get the Stuarts back on the throne. It eventually meant the end of the Scottish clans. The final battle took place at Culloden, close to Inverness, in 1746.

You can find a few reenactments of the battles in Scotland, but not nearly enough!

Jacobite reenactors are most commonly found at Celtic festivals or Highland games. Hopefully, there will be more Jacobite reenactment events in the following years, so we can learn more about the intriguing Scottish history.
