Morgan's Raid was a military campaign conducted by Confederate General John Hunt Morgan and his troops during the American Civil War. In the summer of 1863, Morgan and his men conducted a series of raids in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio, causing widespread disruption and destruction. The raiders were pursued by Union forces, and the campaign ended with the capture of most of Morgan's men in Ohio. Morgan's Raid was one of the most famous Confederate raids of the Civil War and had a significant impact on the course of the conflict.
