Conner Prairie is a large outdoor museum. You can explore a prairie town from 150 years ago, fly in a helium-filled balloon and learn more about the American civil war or visit and learn more about the culture of Indians in the Indian camp. At the craft corner, your children will enjoy many activities for all ages.
Make sure you visit the lovely little apple store to get a taste of the delicious caramel apples, apple ciders or apple donuts!
Every fall, around Halloween, conner prairie organizes a special festival called 'headless horseman', with lots of spooky activities, like the haunted hayride, a marionette show and a haunted maze. For more info see https://www.connerprairie.org/explore/things-to-do/headless-horseman/
