Gravensteen

The Gravensteen, or Castle of Counts, is a medieval castle at Ghent, East Flanders in Belgium. The current castle dates from 1180 and was the residence of the Counts of Flanders.

Highlights

• The castle hosts a large collection of torture tools that are displayed in an executioner's cabinet.
• The comedy audio tour is told with much humor and gives a unique view of the castle's history.
