Living History Farms, 11121 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50322, US
Living History Farms is a large open-air museum, spanning over 300 years of farming in Iowa. Here you will learn how the Iowans changed the prairie into farmland. The best parts of the museum are an Ioway Indian Farm in the year 1700, an 1850's pioneer farm, a 1900's horse-powered farm and the Town of Walnut Hill from 1875. This town includes a print shop, a blacksmith, a broom maker, a school and a law office.
